Wayne Middleton
Our founding Director, Wayne Middleton, is a recognised industry expert in sport, entertainment, venues and events. Wayne brings 20 years experience as a venue/event manager in these industries and 10 years in risk management, specialising in risk management for Government, transport, construction, venues, sporting facilities and major events.Career highlights include Project Manager Safety for Sydney 2000 Olympics, Director of Safety for the Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games (2002), risk consulting for the Vancouver Winter Olympics Games (2010), Australian Tennis Open 2005-2010 and Melbourne Commonwealth Games (2006).
Wayne was the winner of the 2005 University of NSW Workcover Award for Academic Achievement, and Finalist as Australian Risk Manager of the Year in 2005.
Wayne is a recognised speaker at industry forums and institutions on risk management in events, sports and venues, and is a regular contributor to industry publications.
